Quilts of Love is sponsoring a day of quilt-making from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 11, at St. Edmond Catholic Church, Rehoboth Beach. Quilts are given to infants and children in Sussex County. All materials are provided for the day of fun and creativity. Those who don’t know how to sew will be taught. Robeson Students will work with members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. on
● Highlighting HBCUs, including HBCU alumni speakers/presenters and information
● Completing an HBCU staircase graphics display

Soles for Souls - Sorting donated shoes. Through the collection and sale of used shoes, Soles4Souls helps create self-sustaining jobs that generate desperately needed revenues throughout impoverished communities.

Squad 47 will set up a fire prevention and safety education information table at local Fresh Grocer Supermarket. While interacting with people Squad 47 will also inventory all address' still needing smoke alarms.

Stockton is an Age-friendly University, and one of the 10 principles is: To promote intergenerational learning to facilitate the reciprocal sharing of expertise between learners of all ages. By giving grandparents new books to read to their grandchildren, we can promote intergenerational connections and also potentially improve literacy for children. We will collect new and used children's books to distribute to kids and grandparents in Atlantic City.

Students and Staff will participate in clean ups

Students will bake and deliver cookies to first responders at Roxborough police and fire departments.

Students will collect pet supplies to sent to the animal shelter.

Students will conduct a clean & organize storage closets, and adjacent areas of the Chapel Center for the Drama club projects.

Students will go to Cradles to Crayons to help sort and/or clean donated children's items such as clothing, shoes, books and toys.

Students, families and staff will be creating craft bags for children in St. Christopher's Hospital.

Students, families, and staff will be assembling sock and snack rolls for local homeless shelters.

Students, families, and staff will be creating no-sew bags to hold care packages for the PA Workwear Program.

Students, families, and staff will be making flashcards for incoming Kindergarten students.
