Students and families will work to sort and create care packages to donate to a charitable organization.

Cradles To Crayons is dedicating the month of January to Martin Luther King, celebrating his legacy of service in the community.

In partnership with local fire stations, first responders, and community centers Cradles to Crayons will hold a collection across the Greater Philadelphia five-county region.

Students and their families from the Lower Merion School District will participate in creating Valentines to Veterans.

Students and their families from the Lower Merion School District will participate in packing snack bags for families at the Ronald McDonald House.

We will be making fleece tie blankets and packaging toiletries and winter clothing items for another organization that hand delivers items to people who are homeless and living on the streets of Center City.

With the Philly Farm Crew, groups of volunteers will visit local urban farms (most likely in West Philly) to lend a much-needed hand with one of various farming/gardening projects; people will get their hands dirty in doing several hours of manual work

Volunteers will assist in winterization of client’s homes. They will enter the client’s home and assist with changing light bulbs, air filters, and winterizing windows. There may be other small tasks requested that are needed to ensure clients stay warm. Older Adults

will visit with senior residents

School Lane's Charter School's 6th grade Ambassadors will be assembling self-care bags to be distributed among the homeless community. Ambassador director, Victoria Fairburn and other staff members will oversee the assembly.

This event is Linconia's annual event that we (B3T) and the community have been invited to be a part of for approx. 14 years.
So their service includes clergy from The Bensalem-Feasterville Minusterium, and community participation.

PARX hosts our 'kick off Breakfast Celebration' for our Bensalem community. All Bensalem houses of worship clergy and congregants and community organizations and businesses etc. are invited to RSVP and take part in this event.

Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley is partnering with Valley Youth House (VYH). VYH is looking for groups (6-10 people) to paint living rooms and bedrooms at our Maternity Group Home and Lehigh Valley Shelter, on MLK Day. Group volunteering only. VYH Maternity Group Home is a program for pregnant and parenting mothers ages 16-22 and their children, which focuses on providing community supportive transitional living support, life skills, and parenting/individual therapy.

Please join Mayor David Mayer, Township Council, Gloucester Township Public Schools, and Friends and Neighbors on January 21st by volunteering your time to fulfill Dr. King’s dream of helping others. As Dr. King once said, "Life's most persistent and urgent question is: “What are you doing for others?” Be a part of fun and worthwhile service projects that have a lasting impact on our entire community.

Help the men and women of the Fire Department with firehouse duties.

Stuffing kongs with a peanut butter mixture for dogs at the shelter. (Activity takes place at C.W. Lewis Middle School).

Bake chocolate chip cookies, bag them and add a special message for the Cathedral Kitchen.

Spending quality time with residents helping in the activities areas to enrich their lives. Help residents make MLK Jr. Plaques as an Arts & Craft project, helping with Civil Rights BINGO, helping to sort and organize decorations, or just sitting and chatting with some of the residents who enjoy one to one time.

Create small booklets with playful jokes, nursery rhymes, silly faces etc. Donate them to a hospital for children.

The Family Resource Center provides services to families throughout our Township and region. This project is a general cleanup of the area. (outside activity)

This active senior community in Glendora needs helpful hands to clean sliding doors of the residences.

Collecting and sorting toiletries at Chews United Methodist (soap, toothpaste, chapstick, shampoo, etc.) for the Neighborhood Center in Camden.
