We will be cleaning outside ( weather pending) the recreation facility.

We will be cleaning inside the recreation facility. We are inviting adults and children at least 5yrs. old & up from the Community.

We will do a clean up of the playground, inside and out.

Volunteers will be engaging in a thorough clean up of the West Market Corridor. Starting from 63rd and Market, volunteers will pick up trash, debris, and litter using a rolling trash can. At the end, volunteers will drop off the bags of collected trash at 62nd and Market for pickup.
Volunteers will break at 12 PM for a lunch provided for by Whole Foods Market and West Phillie Produce.

We will be cleaning a local church in the community with children and
adults

We are hosting a Red Cross Blood Drive

For AAMP's 2019 Martin Luther King Day of Service project, we will be creating care packages for families at the Woodstock Family Center that will include books, handwritten cards, toiletries, winter/cosmetic essentials and no-sew fleece blankets/pillows. This program will be free and open to the public.

Volunteers should come dressed appropriately to clean and paint designated areas of the school. All volunteers will need to sign a "waiver" on site. Light refreshments will be served. Penn Athlete volunteers from the Women’s basketball and Men’s Lacrosse team will hold sports clinics throughout the day that emphasize the importance of good sportsmanship, skill, and community. Students will be able to test out their agility skills during a rock-wall session. The rotations will end with a community-building service project led by current graduate students who were also former student-athletes. The service project portion is a women’s empowerment kit that consists of toiletries

Coats received from members and donors will be organized by male/female/adult/child and prepared for distribution to the Community starting at 11:00AM. Participants will be comprised of Alliance of Social Workers, Inc. members, family, friends, advocates and National Association of Black Social Workers student chapters from various schools such as Widener University, West Chester University.
