We will assist residents and neighbors with cleaning the park and playground. We will also distribute fire prevention literature.

Spending quality time with residents helping in the activities areas to enrich their lives. Help residents make MLK Jr. Plaques as an Arts & Craft project, helping with Civil Rights BINGO, helping to sort and organize decorations, or just sitting and chatting with some of the residents who enjoy one to one time.

Book Collection and Sorting for Philadelphia Schools

-church members are partnering with neighbors in beautifying the neighborhood; -we encourage all ages to be involve, no you is too young or old; -continuing creating a fellowship with the neighbors; -being able to demonstrate to the children the importance of working together to achieve the goal; -being reminded and introducing what the civil rights movement is about and why it is important (senior adults share their experiences); - viewed some videos of Dr. King and held discussions; -lunch

Student and adult volunteers will help to pick u trash on the school grounds with a focus on the Nature Trail

Students from Hill-Freedman World Academy's IB Program will be designing and implementing service projects to help improve their school community. These include: beautification of the inside and outside of the school, painting, cleaning, organization.

We will clean up trash and debris on the outside grounds.

Located in the Glendora section of Gloucester Township, the tavern was built in 1756. Service project entails cleaning up the home and assisting in archiving old letters. Project is limited to ten volunteers - adults must accompany children.

Join us for our next community cleanup on Saturday, January 19th! This time, we’re going to be cleaning the blocks surrounding Willard and Conwell Schools. At 9am, we'll be meeting in the Municipal Parking Lot across the street from Conwell (1804-36 East Clearfield St).

Postcard making and writing opposing gun violence and other issues

Student and adult volunteers will create Valentine Cards for active and retired military members in our larger school community.

Various nonprofits will host volunteers for service projects to help with light maintenance, painting, packaging supplies, and more.

Volunteers will donate, sort and package personal care items for men, women and children in homeless shelters.
Volunteers will also package "Keep It Warm" packs for seniors in a senior living facility.

There will be more than 25 projects organized by Abington Friends School allowing for in excess of 600 participants. Projects offered are for all skill and age levels and we partner with 15 different organizations.

Clothing Sale Sort

Students, family members, and staff will be assembling sock and snack rolls for local homeless shelters.

The Mill Creek clean up day will involve raking leaves and cleaning debris from the outdoor amenities of the playground, including the playgrounds, basketball courts, ball fields and surrounding pavements. Indoor cleaning of the recreation center will also take place. Members of the Mill Creek Advisory Council will be on hand to provide assistance with the clean up effort.

Volunteers will donate, sort and package literacy items for children in homeless shelters and teachers in a local school.
Items to collected and packaged include paper, pens, pencils, crayons, coloring books, notebooks, book bags and K-6 reading books.
