| Project Description | During this event, we will learn about the civil rights movement, of which Martin Luther King Jr. was a key leader. We will focus on women of the Civil Rights movement, and talk about the legacy of the movement today. We will also do a creative project to share what we learned with the larger community This will help educate community members about pieces of history we may not know about, and inspire thoughtful action based on this history and the way it lives |
